Newly refurbished and extended facilities to the existing flint and brick maltings now provide a community centre housing a café, exhibition galleries and a new theatre/cinema.
Our commission was to design the foundations; steel frame; retaining walls and lift pit; together with the surface and foul water drainage.
Challenges included the removal of the existing floors and wall stabilisation to provide the required floor to ceiling height for the cinema/theatre space.
